I am excited to participate in the hybrid event " The BIM Conference" organized by Boussias, a leading B2B trade publishing, awards company in Greece and the Technical Chamber of Greece.
I will present the "The strategic role of international standards in BIM: An introduction to ISO 19650 standards" where I will discuss the importance of ISO 19650 in BIM implementation and the key principles of BIM in line with ISO 19650.
The event includes topics related to digital construction and BIM implementation in Greece, such as national and international standards, public sector projects, BIM skills development, benefits from BIM adoption, risk management, BIM and EU Green Deal principles, BIM and landscape and urban design and others.
BIM experts, professionals, academics and representatives for legislative and institutional bodies will present the future legislative framework for Greece, the cost-benefit analysis study for the use of BIM by the EU BIM Task Group, skills and toolsets, and exceptional cases with the use of BIM.
